Thanksgiving 2022: How Celebrities Celebrated Turkey Day This Year | Glamour

It’s Thanksgiving 2022, and celebrities are back for another round of turkey, family, and sharing what they’re thankful for…Sure sounds like what the rest of us are doing!

After last year’s romantic Turkey day, this Thanksgiving is still all about spreading the love. While Wells Adams celebrated his wife Sarah Hyland’s birthday, Kim Kardashian teamed up with Tristan Thompson to throw a Friendsgiving dinner for incarcerated men at Camp Kilpatrick in Malibu. “Happy Thanksgiving to all of the men and women that are away from their families this year,” wrote on Instagram, in part, alongside a series of photos from their gathering.

Without further ado, here’s how celebrities are celebrating Thanksgiving in 2022:

President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden

While spending the holiday in Nantucket, the President and First Lady called into Today’s coverage of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “I want to say thanks to the firefighters, the police officers, first responders. They never take a break,” President Biden said, per People. “And by the way, we’re gonna be talking to some of our troops later today, both here and abroad.”

In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, Biden took part in the White House tradition of pardoning turkeys for crimes unknown. This year’s lucky birds are named Chocolate and Chip.

Mariah Carey

Speaking of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performing her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” with special guest appearances by her 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. “Happy Thanksgiving!!!🍁,” she wrote on Instagram. “Grateful and so proud of my beautiful kids Roc and Roe, grateful for the lambily and for the precious moments in life. ❤️❤️❤️ Now it’s reaaaallly time!!! 🎄🎅🏼.”
