Saugat’s ‘Mantra’ was seen by 20 lakh celebrities in three days – Himal Sanchar

Kathmandu. Saugata Malla and Diya Pun starrer film ‘Mantra’ has collected around 20 lakh rupees in three days.

Released in multiplexes and single screens amid the dominance of foreign films, the film did not open as expected. The audience has given a good response to the film.

A celebrity show was organized at Ranjana Cineplex on Sunday evening where actors Prashant Tamrakar, Rabin Tamang and Shishir Vandel watched the film. The trio said that ‘Mantra’ is a heart touching film.

Directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, the film tells the love story of Manaslu region of North Gorkha.

The film received a good response at its premiere in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The audience praised its cinematography, location, soundtrack and story. But the business is not successful in terms of earnings.

The film also stars Namita Tamang, Pasang T Sherpa and Bir Bahadur Lama. The story of the film is by Parached Sen and its screenplays have been written by Samten Bhutia, Sunil Noore and Sen himself. Suresh Karki, Raviraj Karki and Shubh Shrestha are the producers and Devendra Manandhar is the executive producer of the film.
