Farm Share teams up up with Jaguars, other celebrities for food distribution Saturday


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Farm Share has teamed up with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and other celebrities to provide food for 500 Floridians in the Jacksonville community through a drive-thru food distribution.

The event is Saturday April 17, starting at 8 a.m. at the Pearl Plaza, located at 5120 Perry St.

Recipients are asked to arrive in a car with trunk or cargo space so there is minimal to no contact in distributing the fresh produce and non-perishable canned goods.

They are also requested to wear a mask for the safety of all parties.

The participating Jaguars players include: Richard Collier, Josh Evans, Jason Babin, Roy Miller III, Demetrius McCray, Jordan Toddman, and, Paul Posluszny.

Other celebrities participating include: Dr. Rakiya Faulkner, Curtis Dvorak (Jags mascot), Daniel Davis (CEO Jacksonville Chambers), Chris Porter, Eric “Dilla” Dillard, Laveranues Coles, and Hugh Harris.

NOTE: This is a drive-thru only event.
