These Famous Men and Women Don’t Need Someone On Their Arm to Live the Good Life
For years, George Clooney was the face of celebrity single life. A shining beacon of what fame, fortune, great hair can get you in this country.

So, where does that leave the rest of us hot-heads still on the hunt for a meaningful relationship?

Jennifer Aniston? Our Jen? Single? Really? Believe it. After her famed divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005 followed another split from Justin Theroux a decade later, the Friends and dry eyes advocate star decided to call it a day and embrace the single life.
“To stay in a marriage based on fear feels like you’re doing your one life a disservice,” said Aniston during an interview with Elle back in 2018. Aniston goes on to explain how people shouldn’t look as a failed marriage as a failed life, but rather a chance to start over.

It’s hard to believe that someone with as much talent, looks, muscles, and hair as Lenny could be single in a world full of people who appreciate the aforementioned positive attributes. High-profile romantic endeavors with Lisa Bonet, Adriana Lima, and Nicole Kidman assure us that this 56-year-old rocker and style icon has still got it while daughter Zoë Kravitz shows the beauty and talent of the Kravitz bloodline.

Colin Farrell hit the scene in 1998 with the release of the BBC drama series Ballykissangel, continuing to rock our hearts and minds with a slew of reputable roles in Minority Report, Daredevil, and Horrible Bosses. But even with fame and fortune aplenty, there’s always a sense of shock and disbelief that one feels when hearing about this Irish rose’s relationship status: s-i-n-g-l-e.
That hasn’t stopped the actor from having a little fun on the scene, though. By the end of 2003 alone, Farrell was speculated to be involved with Britney Spears, Josie Maran, Angelina Jolie, Maeve Quinlan, and Demi Moore. Now, the actor spends his time raising his two sons, James Padraig and Henry Tadeusz, and not worrying about ways to tactfully lose Scrabble with a significant other.

You should take solace in the fact that Emma Watson is so devoted to being happily single that she rebranded the relationship status as “self-partnered.” If just half the people on this planet could look at single life with as much confidence as Ms. Hermione Granger, there would likely be no wars or blue balls-fueled stabbings.
The 30-year-old realizes the intense scrutiny involved with being a single actress, telling British Vogue: “If you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby… There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety.” Watson is quite secure with her status, something a lot of people can learn from.

The star of such films as The Wedding Singer, E.T., and Fever Pitch and host of the aptly-titled Drew Barrymore Show has gone on the record multiple times to express her love of the single life. How is it so easy for this beloved actress to go on romantically unsupported during such a turbulent time? Two words: Tom Green.
In a recent interview with People, Barrymore let the world know that she has no regrets about her life choices: “I will never get married again! … I will never, with a capital N-E-V-E-R, never get married. It’s like, I have two options. Cut it — this has not worked — or be Elizabeth Taylor.” Loud and clear, Drew!

Jim Carrey had a bit of a fall from grace this past… decade or so, retreating from the types of roles that turned him into a household name. Despite two high-profile marriages to actresses Melissa Womer and Lauren Holly, Carrey has no regrets and says he enjoys a quieter life.
“You could describe my home life as an isolated life,” Carrey told The Daily Mail in a 2018 interview. “I spend a lot of time by myself but I like being by myself, so it’s OK. That might be strange to some people, but I enjoy it.” As long as he’s happy being single, we’ll continue living vicariously through his character, Joel Barish, in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Leslie Jones knows how to keep her spirits up. Even after finding herself a victim of a shameful hacking incident, this 53-year-old powerhouse remains optimistic about the future while blaming her life alone on a general lack of interest from men.
“Just so everyone knows. There was never a secret boyfriend,” wrote the SNL star on Twitter in 2017 in response to a rumor put out that she was courting someone under the radar. “I have terrible luck with men. Real talk. They do not like me lol!!”
Hey, we are positive there are some guys out there who like you, Leslie. This stuff takes time!

Diane Keaton is one of those brilliant actresses who can captivate an audience simply by being herself on screen. Despite famous relationships with celebrities like Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, and Al Pacino, the 75-year-old actress says she’s remained unmarried her entire life because of her status as an “oddball.”
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with putting out a little bit of weirdness in the world. Will Diane ever find her oddball counterpart? Hard to say, but it seems like she is as sound as a pound without one.

Some celebrities on this list have made it abundantly clear they’ve chosen the single life while others have found themselves alone by circumstance. Liam Neeson has stayed relatively single after the tragic death of his wife Natasha Richardson back in 2009. The famed Irish actor is still doing his thing on the big screen while moonlighting as a loving father to his two sons, Daniel and Micheál.

That’s right! The Thetan-master himself is single! After a very public divorce from Katie Holmes back in 2012, people expected the Top Gun star to settle down once again with someone that has as much star power, charisma, and height (just kidding) as he does. Alas, the 58-year-old actor is forever tied up in his one true love: Scientology.
