A spin-off series of the popular British survival reality TV show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here will be filmed in South Africa.

Digital Spy reports that the show hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will feature some of I’m A Celebrity’s ‘best-loved camper from past years’.

A source told the DailyMail that the new show would feature the campmates doing trials and living in the camp environment but with fresh and exciting twists.

The show is set to air in 2023.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! first debuted in 2002 and has to date, had 21 seasons. Celebrities are taken out of their comfort zones and placed in extreme conditions in the show. They complete challenges to secure additional food and treats for the group and avoid being voted out by viewers during their stay. The final episode’s votes nominate who wins the season.

Celebrities who appeared on the show include Kerry Katona, Peter Andre, Jason Donovan, Janice Dickinson, George Takei, and Joel Dommett.

The 2022 edition, which returns to the Australian jungle, is set to air later this year.
